Following the health crisis, the future of the aeronautics industry, hardly hit by this episode, is one of the major concerns at present in a context of legitimate concern for sustainable development. This is why it seemed important to us that we (the Alumni and the School) bring our "stone to the building".
Innovation and team mobilization must now make it possible to meet this new challenge.
The conference, moderated by Sophie VOINIS, scientific journalist, will take place on the basis of 3 introductory presentations of a round table, followed by discussions with the audience:
- Factual inventory of the climate impact of air transport: speaker: Serge PLANTON, climatologist
- Presentation of research axes for zero climate impact aviation:
- MERMOZ Drone Project: Zero carbon transatlantic drone in the South Atlantic, speaker Jean ‑ Marc MOSCHETTA, professor of aerodynamics at ISAE-SUPAERO.
- Feasibility of zero carbon commercial aviation, speaker Matthieu MEAUX, AIRBUS
- Impact on the aviation industry of this new challenge; speaker: Economist Philippe ROUSSELOT, professor of economics at ISAE-SUPAERO and professor of finance at TBS.
- Round table bringing together: ISAE-SUPAERO management, ISAE-SUPAERO-ENSICA ALUMNI, ISAE-SUPAERO FOUNDATION, SUPAERO FOR EARTH, SUPAERO DECARBO, AIRBUS, SAFRAN, One of the three 3rd year students who created the micro-project “Imagine a transport responsible aviation ”.
The directives of the health authorities will, of course, be strictly observed and it is therefore possible that this conference will take place by video transmission or mixed face-to-face and video transmission. The conference, which will be recorded, is open to anyone participating to the Open Day and will be followed by a cocktail reception reserved for alumni and students.
