Student prizes

Every year,ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA Alumni awards several prizes, some of which are shared with SAE (Société des Amis de l'ISAE et de l'ENSTA), to ISAE-SUPAERO students in their final year of Engineering or Master / Mastère Spécialisé® courses, in recognition of their contribution to the development of our community.

Maurice Mayoux (ARTS & MÉTIERS Cluny 1920 - SUPAERO 1924), born May 23, 1903 in Chalon sur Saône ,

has devoted much of his career to the aeronautical and space worlds, as these aeronautical summaries attest.

Died September 4, 1997, in Chalon sur Saône,

In his will, Maurice Mayoux designated the SUPAERO Association as the beneficiary of the income from part of his estate, with the request that this be used to award a prize to deserving SUPAERO engineering students at the end of their final year of study.

The SUPAERO Association, now ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA Alumni, decided to create the Mayoux-Dauriac Aéronautique prize. There is also a Mayoux-Dauriac ARTS & MÉTIERS prize, awarded each year to a second-year student from each ARTS & MÉTIERS campus "for his/her knowledge of the French language and the use he/she makes of it in written and oral reports, whether literary, mathematical or scientific". The name of his wife, Jeanne Dauriac, is associated with these awards.

Theaim of the prize is to reward one or more final-year ISAE-SUPAERO engineering students for their practical achievements (projects) during their schooling and various internships, according to the wishes of our fellow student. Projects are judged on their usefulness to industry (or services), and must present a positive economic balance sheet (see Mayoux-Dauriac 2023 Award rules).

This year's deadline for applications is midnight, Friday June 30, 2023.

Since its creation, this prize has rewarded numerous winners. Congratulations to all! (click on the names to access the videos or titles to see the news)

Winners 2021

This prize was created in memory of Paul Alain Lamy, who graduated from SUPAERO in 1995 and passed away prematurely in 2002. Since 2005, it has been financed by his partner and friend Florent Moïse and his wife Andréa, and presented on their behalf by a member of the ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA Alumni board at the graduation ceremony.
It was intended to reward a3rd year engineering student in the SUPAERO engineering curriculum who, during his or her time at the school, had demonstrated motivation and curiosity for the business world beyond its technical component, as had Paul Alain Lamy, thus perpetuating the dynamic that Paul Alain Lamy had instilled in his SUPAERO 1995 graduating class.

The winner was chosen by the governance of ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA Alumni in liaison with the teaching staff of the engineering curriculum, including a member of the SUPAERO class of 1995 who knew Paul Alain Lamy well, and submitted to Florent and Andréa Moïse for approval.

Since 2021, the Paul Lamy Prize has been awarded by the Fondation ISAE-SUPAERO.
