Presentation

Created in May 2020, the Supaero Horology Club, with its pretty name Équation du Temps*, is in the launch phase !

The purpose of the club is to create a community around the world of watchmaking within Supaero and to help amateurs and enthusiasts discover this world !

To achieve this, the club is divided into 3 divisions: Events/Technical and Community. The respective activities of these divisions are :

- Visits (shops, fairs) and fittings

- Learning and practicing on watch mechanisms (quartz or mechanical), or even design

- Exchanges and knowledge sharing via a community on Facebook

Thus, with these activities, the club hopes to satisfy all watch enthusiasts (or just curious) ! Be it on a technical or community level.

*But why this name?

The name "Équation du Temps" refers to a parameter used in astronomy representing the difference between true solar time and mean solar time. This name thus echoes a field of our studies and time.

Meetings

To date, no meetings have been scheduled. This is because the year 2020 simply marks the launch of the club. As a result, the club office has not yet been recruited and activities have not yet begun. Therefore, meetings will be held later as needed !

Partners

We have not yet established a partnership.

However, we are looking for partners for the Event & Technical divisions. Respectively it would be about :

- jewelry and watchmaking workshops

- sponsors for the purchase of tools/machinery or also workshops (to provide used parts for training)
