Conference on December 6 at 6:00 pm "SAF: Sustainable Aviation Fuels

As part of the cycle of conferences organized since 2020 by ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA ALUMNI, on the future of aviation, we invite you to take part in the next conference:

"SAF: Sustainable Aviation Fuels".

This conference will be held on Tuesday December 6 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Amphi 2 on the ISAE-SUPAERO campus, and will be followed by a cocktail reception in the Forum.

After an introduction by Olivier LESBRE, General Manager of ISAE-SUPAERO, there will be 5 presentations followed by a round-table discussion:

• Presentation of an extract from the ISAE-SUPAERO Aviation-climate reference framework, focusing on SAF, by Scott DELBECQ (Research engineer at ISAE-SUPAERO, co-author of the reference framework).
• Presentation of the scientific component by Patrick LECLERCQ (Head of Department Multiphase Flow and Alternative Fuels DLR-Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt/German Aerospace Center)
• Presentation of industrial development and related research by Angélique CHANAL (Head of R&D biofuels/Branch ONETECH/TOTAL ÉNERGIES)
• Outlook for operational use and sustainable aviation research/innovation by Éric DALBIÈS-X87-S1992 (Group Vice President, Strategy, R&T and Innovation/SEVP Strategy & Chief Technology Officer SAFRAN )
• ISA (Institute for Sustainable Aviation) training and research roadmap by Laurent JOLY D1994E ( Deputy Director DRRP ISAE-SUPAERO & Director of ISA)
• Round-table discussion moderated by Julie DEVAUX S2020
