The Carnavalet Museum - History of Paris is the Parisian municipal museum dedicated to thehistory of Paris from the city's origins to the present day. Located in the Marais district^at 23 rue de Sévigné in Paris's ^3rd arrondissement, it boasts rich collections on a variety of themes: memories of the French Revolution, historical paintings, sculptures, furniture and decor from the ^17th and ^18th centuries, objets d'art, prints, etc.
