The Carnavalet Museum - History of Paris is the Parisian municipal museum dedicated to thehistory of Paris from the city's origins to the present day. Located in the Marais districtat 23 rue de Sévigné in Paris's 3rd arrondissement, it boasts rich collections on a variety of themes: memories of the French Revolution, historical paintings, sculptures, furniture and decor from the 17th and 18th centuries, objets d'art, prints, etc.

Magnificent restoration: an unprecedented accumulation of the utmost interest for anyone wanting to know the HISTORY OF PARIS. Let's start with the 16thand 17thcenturies , the time of the Valois, Catherine de Médicis, Madame de Sévigné ...
