The astronomy club of Supaero!

Sky observation outing : -> at the back of the gymnasium, on the rugby field

                                     -> on a field, 30-45' drive from Supaero (Soupex for the connoisseurs)

Astrophotography sessions : picture takings, treatment on computer, project with the astronomers of the Mars club

Knowing more about space, the equipment used and astronomy in general

Whether you are a beginner, a confirmed user or an expert, you're welcome to join!

Meetings

The meetings take place once every two weeks, on fridays (because we don't have any classes the day after). The metting time depends on the season, but generally it's 9 pm in the winter, 10 pm in the summer. We like to eat together before the meeting upstairs in the mde ;). 

If the weather is not good : -> either the meeting takes place indoors (photo treatment, presentations -e.g on the detection of exoplanets-,...)

                                         -> or the meeting is postponed to Saturday night if the weather is good

                                         -> or the meeting is postponed to the week after

Concerning the outings to the Soupex field, you will be notified through this group, and through the facebook group.

In any case you will notified of every meeting on the facebook group I advise you to join: www.facebook.com/groups/astrosupaero/ (this is also a messenger group if interested).
