Deaths - Engineer Sup'Aéro 1972

We regret to inform you of the death of Pierre ONATZKY on May 28, 2024.

He had taken part, among others, in an expedition to the Hidden Peak in the Karakorum massif (K2) with Christine Janin, the first French woman to have climbed Everest and other 8000-meter peaks. Pierre joins his rope-mate Etienne Robein, also from the class of 1972, who died in 2022.
