A warm welcome for X 2021

A warm welcome for the X 2021 students admitted to the third year of the Engineering program.

On Wednesday August 28, Nicolas MARSON (SUPAERO 2004), our president, Nghia HOANG (MS™ 2012), our vice-president in charge of student relations, Jean-Louis MARCÉ (X66/SUPAERO 1971) and Silvia MACEDO, our new permanent staff member, welcomed, at the MINOTAURE Café in the HALLE des MACHINES, the X 2021s who have just joined SUPAERO, along with three X-SUPAERO comrades from the region, David BARDET (AIRBUS- X1994/SUPAERO 1999) , Clémence LE FÈVRE (CNES-X2000/SUPAERO 2004) and Vincent de LABORDERIE (ATR-X1993/SUPAERO 1998), over a convivial drink.

This meeting between alumni and young students was very much appreciated, as evidenced by the fact that 14 of the 15 X 2021 students admitted to SUPAERO attended, and the lively discussions continued from 5:30 p.m. until the café closed at around 7:00 p.m., on subjects as varied as life in Toulouse, career choices and the appeal of the aerospace field ranging from low-carbon aviation to planetary exploration and useful space.

These convivial encounters with students will continue with all newly admitted students at theback-to-school afterwork on September 19.
