Marie-Hélène Baroux takes the helm at ISAE-SUPAERO

ISAE-SUPAERO is entering a new phase in its history with the appointment of Marie-Hélène Baroux as its new CEO. Tuesday September 10 marks a turning point, asOlivier Lesbre, General Manager for the past ten years, passes the torch to his successor, after having raised the establishment to the top of the aerospace engineering training scene. Like her predecessor, the new director is an armaments engineer, and now faces a major challenge: to continue transforming the Institute in a rapidly changing environment, both technological and societal.

A transformation begun under Olivier Lesbre

Under the leadership of Olivier Lesbre, ISAE-SUPAERO has undergone significant expansion. In the space of ten years, the school has enriched its training offer and strengthened its research activities, while repositioning itself on the international scene. Olivier Lesbre emphasized his commitment to two objectives: to promote the excellence of French training and to support the aerospace sector in the face of new challenges. His career, dedicated to the general interest and to defense, ends on a note of pride in his achievements at ISAE-SUPAERO.

Asthe first woman to head ISAE-SUPAERO, Marie-Hélène Baroux is also keen to increase the diversity of profiles in a sector traditionally dominated by men.
