Solidarity race organized by students: a success for Secours Populaire

On September 14, a warm and supportive atmosphere reigned on the ISAE-SUPAERO campus as students from the sports association organized a solidarity run. The event, aimed at collecting donations for Secours Populaire, brought together not only current students, but also alumni of the school, who had come to support this worthy cause.

A race for solidarity

In the morning, participants, dressed in a T-shirt specially created for the occasion, lined up at the starting line. The solidarity race offered two routes to enable everyone to take part: a first race of 3 kilometers and a second of 5 kilometers, with the option of doing both. Runners were thus able to choose the course that suited them best, while remaining united by a common goal: to raise funds for Secours Populaire. Cheers from spectators and volunteers helped to make the atmosphere even more convivial and festive.

Alumni at the rendezvous

The day was also marked by the enthusiastic presence of alumni, who were invited to join the race and celebrate the school's values. In addition to taking part in the fundraising, they took advantage of the event to share their professional experiences with current students and forge intergenerational links. Some alumni even donned their sneakers to run alongside the younger students, reinforcing the school's community spirit.

A convivial barbecue to round things off

After the effort, the comfort! Once the finish line had been crossed, all participants were invited to a large barbecue organized in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Students, alumni and volunteers shared a moment of conviviality over grilled meats, while celebrating the success of this solidarity initiative. The event raised ..... for Secours Populaire, which will be used to support families in difficulty. Rewards to celebrate effort and commitment

At the end of the race, a prize-giving ceremony was organized to reward the runners. Medals were awarded to the fastest male and female participants on both courses. But the prize-giving ceremony was not limited to sporting achievements: a special prize was also awarded to the doyen of the event, a former student of the school (Maurice PRAT (1963)). Although he did not take part in the race, his presence at the alumni stand and his support for the initiative were highly commended. This symbolic prize underlined the importance of everyone's commitment and participation, whatever their role in this day of solidarity.
