The Association has just taken an important symbolic and logistical step by moving all its historical archives from its Paris premises to Toulouse. The move aims to preserve and enhance the school's rich heritage, while bringing these documentary treasures closer to the heart of the SUPAERO community.

Preserving our collective memory

For decades, the association's archives have been kept in the Parisian premises. These documents represent a veritable memory of the school and its alumni, tracing its history from its foundation to the present day. They include correspondence, reports, period photographs, event files and much more. All of which testify to the evolution of the Institute and the contribution of its engineers to the development of aerospace.

A large-scale operation

Transferring the archives required meticulous organization. This ambitious project mobilized a team of association members and volunteers (Nicolas MARSON, Catherine GOETZ and Alain GOETZ), who spent several days sorting, inventorying and preparing dozens of boxes of documents. Each item, from the most recent to the oldest, was carefully packed to guarantee its integrity during transport.

The move to Toulouse is not insignificant: it brings the archives closer to the campus and the Association's new premises, where history continues to be written every day with new generations of students and engineers.

A new dynamic for the Association

The move ushers in a new era for the IISAE SUPAERO Alumni Association, which is now planning to set up projects to digitize and enhance its archives. The aim is to facilitate access to these historical resources for researchers, alumni and current students alike, who will be able to gain a better understanding of the school's history and the outstanding contributions of their predecessors.
