ELDA TECHNOLOGY: Innovation for ski resorts

Faced with the challenges of climate change, ski resorts need to adapt to optimize their operations and guarantee their sustainability. This is the background to ELDA TECHNOLOGY, a start-up founded in 2023 by three engineers with a passion for mountains and innovation. Graduates of ISAE-SUPAERO's Specialized Masters in Innovative Project Management and Entrepreneurship, we have combined our skills in mechanics, materials, energy and the environment to meet the new challenges facing the mountains.

A response to the challenges of snowmaking

Snow management is a major challenge for ski resorts. Snow cover is becoming increasingly uncertain, and the costs of producing artificial snow are soaring.

ELDA TECHNOLOGY designs innovative solutions for mapping and monitoring ground movements using drone and LiDAR technologies. Its first product, ELDA SNOW, revolutionizes ski area management by accurately modeling snow depth.

Technology for efficiency

Our approach enables operators to reduce their water and electricity consumption by almost 15%, improve safety and enhance the quality of the customer experience, while contributing to the ecological transition necessary for the sustainability of the mountains. Successfully deployed in a number of resorts, including Serre Chevalier Domaine Skiable with whom we will be co-developing the solution in November 2022, our solution has already proved its effectiveness and is attracting strong interest from the market.

Our impact doesn't stop at ski resorts. At the same time, we're developing ELDA ANALYTICS, a SaaS platform for drone pilots and geospatial professionals that enables LiDAR data to be processed simply and automatically. Whether for coastal or forestry monitoring, ELDA ANALYTICS enables users to rapidly transform LiDAR data into decision-making information using an intuitive interface and powerful tools such as multimodal mapping and 3D visualization. Our first POCs are underway, notably for maritime mine inspection.

Our ambitions and our fundraising

Our objective is clear: to accelerate our development in order to deploy our technology on a large scale and be a key player in the 2030 Olympic Games. To achieve this, we are raising €400,000 to industrialize our solution and strengthen our market presence.
